Rough Trade

Rebrand | Design Concept

Established in 1976, Rough Trade is a legendary record label with rebellion at its core. I designed a distinctive, distorted typeface and a set of icons that embody the brand’s raw edge. Traditional rules like kerning and tracking take a backseat—the power lies in the bold interplay of type and iconography. It’s a rule-breaking identity that’s unmistakably Rough.
